June 26th, 2010 – Fike & Dana headline PPCA
-Beautiful Woodland Park, CO will host the Pikes Peak Christian Artist Festival with headliners, Fike & Dana. Come out and see us play in one of the prettiest parts of the country! We’ll debut some new songs you haven’t heard yet!
June 10 – Fike agrees to do radio show with IE
-Fike, Dana, Jonathan Madrid & Justin Adams will host a show called: “Living in the Moment with Richie Fike” to be aired internationally on the web… more details to come!
May 10 – Richie Fike’s third Integrity Writer’s trip
-This week Fike got to write 2 songs with Jonathan Lee (wait till you hear ‘send us’), and one song each with Don Poythress, Chris McClarney and Chris Eaton. Check out the videos page to see the beginnings of some of these songs. ‘Grace’ and ‘Right here, right now’ are going to be great songs, we think…
May 10 – Fike & Dana record with Brent Milligan!
-It’s done… this week, we recorded a new version of ‘My Savior Lord’ with Brent Milligan in Nashville at the Brown Owl studios, and at David Davidson’s home studio for live strings. Check out the ‘making of’ video on our videos page. We’ll release the song to itunes and radio as soon as we get the masters back, in mid-June
April 10 – Fike & Dana agree to work with Brent Milligan!
-Fike & Dana have agreed to terms with esteemed producer, Brent Milligan, to record a new version of ‘My Savior Lord’ for radio, and for Integrity Records to shop a deal. Recording will happen in May…
March 10 – Fike’s second writer trip to Nashville
-Fike & Dana took their second trip to the Ville to write with the likes of Stephen Gause, Rob Ghosh, and Doug McKelvey… great songs came out of this trip! Also on this trip, Fike & Dana were part of a song review panel with Worship Leader Magazine’s worship conference in Nashville. This was one night after attending the Dove awards, which, sadly, “Ascend to Heaven” did not win for ‘choral collection’ of the year.
February 10 – Hames & Haiti Benefit Concert
-Fike & Dana teamed up with Nate Rees & the Desperation band to raise money and awareness for the many lives touched by the earthquake in Haiti, including a family from Vanguard Church who lost our friend, David Hames. It was a great night, and amazing to see so many people willing to give back to such an important cause.
January 10 – ‘Ascend to Heaven’ releases!
-Nationally acclaimed choral publishing company, Lillenas Publishing, released ‘Ascend to Heaven’ this month to rousing applause. Worship Leader Magazine gave it high praise. It’s even in the running for ‘choral collection’ of the year with the Dove awards. Check out this link: WE NEED A LINK HERE, to hear snippets of the songs!
December 09 - Fike’s first writer trip/Integrity Christmas party
-Fike & Dana took their first trip to Nashville this week to co-write with the likes of Jennie Riddle, Jonathan Lee and Michael Farren. “Gloroius You are” and “In This House” will both be on the next Fike & Dana record, tentatively titled: “The Moment we’ve been waiting for”
November 09 - Fike & Dana sign with Integrity Publishing!
-Richie Fike is officially signed with Integrity Publishing as an exclusive writer. Fike will now have the opportunity to write with many of Integrity’s esteemed roster of leaders and artists.
