Hi there Dana and Fike! I had the great chance of hearing you perform at Calvary Chapel Colorado Springs and it was such an Epiphany for me. First of all your song “I Want to Go To The Mountain” (I don’t think I have the title correct but I’m sure you know which one I’m talking about) which you won the 1st place competition for at Estes Park…I know why.. completely touched my heart and soul. It was, however, your new song which has not come out yet but that I am eagerly anticipating…”The Moment We’ve Been Waiting For”…which was completely what I had been walking the entire week and which caused me to renew my commitment with Christ. I can’t begin to tell you what happened after that!!!!!!!! To keep it short I’ll just let you know that after returning by plane to where I live in Ponte Vedra, Florida I got into my car and drove straight to Estes Park, Colorado and spent the next two weeks in total worship, communion and AWE with our Lord and Christ and it has been such an amazingly beautiful journey ever since. Would you please send me the lyrics to the new song as soon as possible. I would like to purchase it as soon as possible. Also, I would like to purchase at least three copies of Make A Sound for my friends and family (My sister and niece who were with me at Calvary already bought their own)so please let me know how to do that also. i attend Vanguard regularly and i just have to say you two make the worship spactacular. i love the song “You Deserve Praise”. it is my favorite song of all time and im so happy you guys played it in service today! i hope you’ll put it onto an upcoming cd or make it available on itunes or something cuz i love it but rarely get to hear it. you guys are amazing. God has truly worked wonders with you.
I am one of your oldest fans and one your first fans.Who am I? No fare you looked. I talked to Gail and she is on cloud 9. She told me she will be there for Xmas.I know you must miss her and love having her there when you can.Maybe I will come to see and hear you sing,I know,it will cost me more than 25 cent. Was great to meet all of you at GMA and a pleasure to hear the song the Lord gave you. Congrats on the win!!! wow so my friend just got back from colorado visiting some of our friends and told me about you guys. i didnt listen to you at first and wasnt really into it but i honostly just fell in love with your music!!! thank you so much this is such a blessing. i am also i worship leader for my youth group and just had a very deep couple hours and wrote a song haha it definatly doesnt sound as good as yours! I am def going to use some of these songs for the upcoming sets thanks sooo much! serioulsy you guys rock hard core!

I have been trying to email you at fike@fikeanddana.com and I keep getting fatal errors, so I am trying this method…
I met you briefly at the end of the last worship set during the Breathe worship conference held at Glen Eryie. I asked you about your new CD because my wife had participated in your song writing workshop and you gave me one. I wanted to write and say thank you so much for that. I would have written sooner, but I have been out of town because of work. I wanted to let you know that the songs have ministered to my soul and my heart as I have listened to the CD many times over the last couple of weeks. I praise God for you and your wife and the hearts that He has given you both to worship and to lead others in worship of Him. God has blessed you with a great ability to write songs that speak to the difficulties and struggles of sin and life yet point to the greatness and power of our God and I thank you for sharing that with me.
I am planning on incorporating your songs into our worship sets, so I am wondering if the best place to get more of your CDs for my team is off of your website. We are local in the Springs so I didn’t know if Vanguard would have them as well.

Oh wow! I am so glad to be connected via internet again. What is going on? Well alot apparently. I am so amazed at the way God moves throughout his body putting his heart in each of us. I am speaking particularly of come into the light. I just finished alan Wright’s book and study called ‘Shame Off You’ and let me tell you, it is amazing. The burden of shame is what keeps us all hiding from the one thing that can truly set us free! We are afraid if they ‘found out’ we’d be pulverized or shunned, but that is shame’s lies becuase when the people hear of the reality we all go through, you’re actually MORE effective than trying to hide the darkest parts!

Hi Fike and Dana. I’ve been meaning to write for some time to tell you how blessed I have been by your music since you came to FBCD a couple months back (Gary Brandeburg’s church in Dallas). I learned in January that I will be laid off from my job in December of this year. I can’t tell you how many times your lyrics in the second track on In and Out have moved me to tears in the last few weeks (something like…you know the plans that you have for me, and I don’t mean to question them, I just need some peace…). God is doing amazing things in our family through these circumstances. We are convinced that if we only obey and follow His leading, His plans are so much better than we could ever imagine. Anyway, thanks! I’m praying for you two.
I can’t explain how much your new CD effected me last week and how God used your music and words to restore me and energize me. It’s been very hard for us since we left Vanguard and moved to Arkansas but we know that God has us here for a special reason. My wife and I were in Colorado Springs for Spring Break and I picked it up at Vanguard. I was dissapointed that you weren’t playing that morning (25 of March)but the worship service that morning was amazing! I played your CD constantly and Amy and I cried for two days as God restored us. We miss Vanguard and your music so much but we were able to come back to Arkansas ready for what God has instore for us and your music was such a huge part of that. It was quite amazing. Thank you for your music. I thank God for it…
We saw you at the Heartland Community Church on March 27th. Your music was and remains inspirational. Apart from your music your presence and love for ministry was quickening!!!!!!!!

I’ve been listening to the new cd, and reading the devotional, and i’m blessed beyond messure for your faithfulness to be still and listen to His voice. You’re true Psalmist of this time, i’m drawing closer to my Lord through your worship, and the devotional has opened my eyes to new things that i didn’t grasp before! Thanks again sooo much!

Remember that old song “(There Will Be)Peace in the Valley”? Here’s the verse of which your March 18 entry reminds me.
